To recall the speed and flight
Of Fox Could who ran across;
The opening was spread in the curve
A climb on easy ways
Gave the illusion of darkness
Tails that waved
In an absent moonlight.

The Fox Could: Respecting
Wandering through a parkland with sunshine
Streams of warmth felt like staying
The exercises and playtimes are folded into four
Continuing towards his den
Avoiding bothering ‘ fox could ’ who waited
Turning away to the left and passed
Pleased for ‘ fox could ‘ the celebrity
Abruptly a route is found
The quiet is not easily accepted or known
But folding quiet into streams flowing
Bubbling through the late winter warmth
Straight forward and simple directed
Darkness around what stands straggled
Too soon to look as if we welcomed forth
However, the season is early; the winter stays
Awkward competes for our thought
